Spencer Hiemstra is a folk musician in Campbell River, BC. Spencer plays coastal folk music, with a singer-songwriter style stripped down on acoustic guitar and vocals. Playing a mix of originals and covers, everyone is sure to be singing along.
I have recently released my debut folk album titled ‘WILDLIFE’ which can be found on any streaming service or in the links found below. After years of playing in rock bands (Maverick Cinema, Pacific Colours) this was my opportunity to try something new. Life is about telling stories and I think my songs are a glance at my story. My songs are about growing up and changing and I take a lot of inspiration from the landscape of Vancouver Island. I am very passionate about sharing my music.
