JC Townsend

JC Townsend is an alternative acoustic singer songwriter from Vancouver Canada. He was born in Calgary, where he had his first opportunity to perform and tour with The Calgary Boy’s Choir as the age of 9. JC travelled to the UK and across Canada as a feature performer. In his teens, he changed direction and began a life long journey, playing and touring in heavier (punk, heavy metal, hardcore) bands. JC has contributed to various projects (The Inahlers, Conch, Car 87, Drown in ashes and Press On) on guitar, bass, and as a lead vocalist. He has always had an interest in melodic acoustic music, spinning Led Zepplin and Neil Young Records at a very young age.
