SAVI
SAVI is a female music artist/singer/songwriter based in Vancouver who's been singing her whole life. She has an expanded repertoire of pop, rock, classical, opera, musical theater, etc. She has traveled and lived throughout Canada, being part of bands, performing with orchestras, being a member of college choirs, while growing as an artist having a drive to write her own music. She is currently in the process of finishing her album, Miss Independent which releases in February. She's an influencer/cosplayer who enjoys cute aesthetics, Japanese culture and anime, she is known as a living fox. She has always been passionate about music and her dream is to continue writing and to further her career, performing, touring and inspiring others and sharing her art.
Ben Wayne Kyle
Ben Kyle is a guitar and vocal driven singer-songwriter from Vancouver, B.C. With influences from Stevie Wonder, Radiohead, Bahamas, Jack Johnson and Chet Baker. Ben is currently in the jazz studies program at Capilano University.
Super Budget
Super Budget is a west coast fueled psych pop band, taking inspiration from all over. Featuring shoegaze tones and breakdowns, to psychedelic grooves, each song tries to give the listener something they haven’t heard before. Super Budget celebrates wonder and positivity, with an awareness of the forces that bring us away from that.
Jim Meyer, Chapman Stick
Vancouver-based composer and Chapman Stick player Jim Meyer brings something a bit different to the 2nd Floor. The amazing sonic and tonal range of this multi-stringed instrument lets Jim play guitar and bass parts simultaneously.. Jim has performed from Melbourne to Barcelona, and his music reflects his travels, ranging from rock to pop to jazz. It is the 10th anniversary of Jim and Mike's duo CD “Arbutus and Jade”, which they will play in its entirety.
Jessica Benini
Captivating singer songwriter and acoustic guitarist Jessica Benini is a fresh force on the West Coast music scene. Blending folk, roots, blues and pop she brings an authentic energy engaging the audience with her soulful melodies and exciting harmonica solos. Jessica was nominated for Vocal Performance of the Year at the Vancouver Island Music Awards and Best Live Act. She placed top 3 at the Islands Folk Festival songwriting competition. Jessica has released two albums, toured throughout North America and has been featured twice at Broadway Sessions in Times Square, as well as was showcased for the songwriter sessions at the Bitter End, in NYC. Jessica currently lives in East Vancouver teaching music and inspiring youth to create music and perform.
Ryley & Kaylar
With a decade of performing in bands, writing music, and scoring films together, Ryley & Kaylar have become one of Vancouver's most prominent music duos and experts of vibe. Together they delight in throwing every genre into the blender, including jazz, RnB, funk, blues, hip-hop, classical, and pop, then turning the dial to maximum. The result is an intimate and relaxed reimagining of stripped down favourites from across the ages, infused with a unique blend of vintage simplicity and elegant modernity.
When not performing across the lower mainland as an instrumental duo, the two are often found lighting up the stage with rage-funk atomic dance party, Raincity.

Stephen Thakkar
Stephen Thakkar is a singer songwriter originally from Oakville, Ontario. While backpacking and surfing in Australia, he ran out of money and resorted to busking between surfing sessions to help pay for his living expenses. Years later live music has become his artistic passion, and his unique experiences and stories have helped mold a unique and entertaining experience for all viewers.
Harris&Debray
The dynamic blues/roots duo Harris&DeBray is an offshoot of the popular Vancouver act Lesismore. Made up of singer Leslie Harris (vocals and percussion) and guitarist Curtis DeBray (acoustic guitar and vocals) it is wowing audiences in venues across the lower mainland with its hip renditions of traditional blues songs, some roots classics and new original music. Their first cd, “Passin’ Time” has been in the top 40 on Reverbnation’s Blues Chart ever since its release.
Tess Anderson
Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Tess Anderson enchants audiences with her candid performances. Whether alone on stage with nothing but a keyboard and a guitar, or backed by a full band, she’s been known to silence crowds with her captivating musical presence. Pulling inspiration everywhere from old-school jazz standards to modern pop, her sound is heavily driven by her unmistakable voice.
Taylor Waters
Taylor started making music at just 12 years old as a way to deal with her anxiety and depression. What started as a way to express herself, quickly became a growing passion. Now at the age of 23, Taylor is fully pursuing her career in music. Taylor’s music is a mesmerizing blend of R&B and lullaby-pop mixed with powerful and unapologetic lyrics, creating a sound that is uniquely her own. In 2019, Taylor released her debut single “Little Sister”, a track that has become her biggest single to date, reaching over 150K streams on Spotify and landing on popular editorial playlists such as Spotify’s Indie Pop Chill Out, Chilled Pop Hits, and Happy Hits. One of her most recent releases, “No Excuses”, which also landed Spotify’s Indie Pop Chill Out playlist, showcases Taylor’s ability to empower and uplift others through her lyrics.
Sarah Eské
Sarah Eské is an R&B/Pop singer originally from Vancouver, Canada. Listening to greats like Mariah Carey, Joss Stone, Lauryn Hill, Toni Braxton and Aretha Franklin have helped to craft her soulful voice. Always motivated to reach and inspire larger audiences, she has performed all across the globe, including Morocco, Egypt, Dubai, The Caribbean, Las Vegas, Cuba and her home country, Canada.
In May of 2015, Sarah Eské received the SAGE Foundation Award of Excellence for her contributions to Anti-Bullying and Youth Mental Health initiatives. Whether it’s the annual “Pink Shirt Day Ladies Luncheon” or “Mike and Manny’s” Olympic Ski Camp fund-raiser, Sarah continues to support community charity events. Most notably is the Amanda Todd Legacy Fund, The CKNW Orphan’s Fund, and the Battered and Abused Women of Vancouver’s Downtown East Side. She was also grateful to have been nominated for the Golden Owl awards in 2018.
Sarah has spent the past few years writing more raw material and collaborating with a variety of musicians for a number of new releases. She feels strongly that it is through music and the arts that we have the potential to bring people together. Fulfilling her dream and satisfying her passion for music is what continues to motivate Sarah Eské today. She is always looking for new opportunities to better her craft, to inspire and to continue to find solace in music.
ReeVay
ReeVay is the moniker of the multi-talented Marc Rivest. The Vancouver based artist gracefully weaves the finest elements of folk, jazz and pop. His tender yet evocative voice poetically delivers his handwritten lyrics. His work is simultaneously soothing, powerful and transformative. It’s easy to get lost in the rich tapestry of sound he has generously created. He combines complex jazz arrangements with simple harmonic structures that are endlessly captivating. ReeVay is inspired by the likes of poetic juggernauts Cat Stevens and Leonard Cohen which is apparent in his material yet he brings something entirely fresh to the music table.
ReeVay sang his way into Vancouver from on a moving train back in 2015. Born and raised
in the greater Toronto area, Marc's musical journey began with piano lessons as a child. Switching to the guitar at the age of 13, he never put it down. Marc's career as a performer began with busking outside grocery and liquor stores. After relocating to Calgary in 2013, he was able to make busking a well-paying full-time job. After the release of "Breathe," Marc decided to advance his musical training through a Diploma in Jazz Studies at Capilano University. While at Cap U, Marc studied jazz guitar and voice with instructors including Bill Coon, Ron Samworth, Andre Lachance, Geordie Roberts, and Steve Maddock and performed in the Capital Jazz vocal ensemble under the direction of Rejean Marois. He graduated with distinction in May 2018.
ReeVay is now a staple to the Vancouver music scene. His perpetually evolving material has been recognized by impressive radio and publications across the province. ReeVay has been featured on Vancouver Co-Op Radio, CJSR, CJSF, Bonsai, The Hawk, Shady Pines Radio, and The River along with Permanent Rain Press, Sounds On the Couch and The Tinnitist.
Leon Ruvel
Leon Ruvel’s music is intense and romantic.
Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Leon Ruvel (vocals, piano, guitar, bass, and harmonica) grew up in Mexico, where the daily living is a rush; a contrast between black and white, good and evil, but always a country full of art and romance. These factors forged Leon's sensitive music, and influenced his song writing. His repertoire ranges from love songs to protest lyrics.
Leon Ruvel´s music, accompanied by his piano and guitar, make a distinctive sound in the genre of rock-pop and soft rock. His way of setting beautiful lyrics to slow and upbeat melodies finds its way into the hearts and minds of people from different cultures and ages.
Francis Henson
Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Francis released his first first-length album, Roots, in 2017 and has released an EP each year since. The first half of 2020 saw the release of his Americana-inspired album, With A Little Bit of Grace, including the popular track “Stuck Down In Paris With You.” Henson is known for smooth guitar phrasing, unambiguous songwriting, and hooks that remain in your head long after you’ve heard them.
