The Nigerian-born singer is inspired by her Yoruba & Ibo heritage, which you experience in her music that ranges from afro-soul with and conscious alternative r&b to neo-soul and contemporary r&b. Her music is certainly in a category of its own.

Super Budget is a west coast fueled psych pop band, taking inspiration from all over. Featuring shoegaze tones and breakdowns, to psychedelic grooves, each song tries to give the listener something they haven’t heard before. Super Budget celebrates wonder and positivity, with an awareness of the forces that bring us away from that.

Sam Chimes is an Afro-Canadian jazzy hip hop music artist. He is an international street performer, producer, and DJ who has ventured around the world twice, supported by his music. With over 1,000 performances and 2,000+ hours of performance time, Sam Chimes is the performer to bring your event to life.

At just nine years old, Chimes started piano lessons which would only last two weeks. It was these two weeks that would affect the rest of his life. In High School he joined various jazz music classes and went on various experiential field trips which undoubtedly affected his musical style.

Myles from Home is a singer-songwriter who sings, plays guitar and harmonica and enjoys spending time outdoors naked. His friends call him Beach Santa. He splits his time between measuring neutrons from nuclear fusion experiments and co-fronting the band Gnarfunkel. He has released two self-produced albums, the latest in 2019, entitled “Reading, Riting and Rithmetic”.

“Myles just has one of those voices. It’s an offspring from the “classic” era of rock when amps were stacked on amps and the louder you sang, the harder you rocked. Though the Linden, Manitoba native channels his inner rock god, as heard from the songs in his [recordings], he does so quietly amongst folk-rock instrumentation.” -Gray Owl Point

Ranjit “Ranj” Singh makes music with a distinct Indian-Western flair that draws on the singer-songwriter and self-taught guitarist’s love for rock music and heartfelt lyrics. He refers to his unique blend of music as “Indo-Canadian Folk”.

In the mid 80’s, Ranj started his career performing with many folk-Punjabi and Hindi artists in the Vancouver area. In the 90’s he helped form — along with his talented brothers — the influential and critically acclaimed group Dal Dil Vog (a.k.a. DDV). The group went on to win numerous awards — including CFOX‘s “Vancouver Seeds 9” battle of the bands in 1994 — and performed with artists such as Jan Arden, 54-40, Mathew Good. DDV’s unique style of bhangara/rock music led to tours throughout North America and India, a live performance on MuchMusic, 3 videos on MuchMusic, and one on MTV Asia.

Nick Varelas is a multi instrumentalist and vocalist. He is an accomplished pop and country musician and is a member of several local bands, including his own Nick Ellis Band. He frequently plays around the lower mainland, in venues such as the Commodore and the Roxy. Educated at both Capilano University and Vancouver Community College, Nick enjoys putting elements of jazz, pop, and electronic music into his country compositions, creating a signature sound that stands out in the modern country scene.

Brian Africa is an eclectic singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Vancouver, BC, Canada who is taking the DIY solo approach to creating and releasing music. His music leans towards Indie Folk with a hint of Nineties Alternative Rock and Sixties Folk Music sensibilities.

Francis Baptiste is an Indigenous songwriter and music journalist from the Osoyoos Indian Band. His forthcoming debut LP, Snəqsilxʷ (Family), features songs in N̓syilxčn̓, a highly endangered language, spoken fluently by only approximately 150 people. The first single from his LP was released in November. He is also a music journalist who writes for Exclaim, Permanent Rain Press, and Vancouver Weekly.

Raincity is a Vancouver-based Rage-Funk group fronted by female leads on saxophone and vocals. Beatroute magazine describes them as “danc[ing] between Paramore’s pop perfection and a late-night RCHP inspired jam session”. The five members of Raincity combine their eclectic influences including Moon Hooch, Amy Winehouse, Queen, and RAGE. They have opened for acts such as Our Lady Peace, Bif Naked, and Five Alarm Funk on stages such as the Commodore Ballroom and The Bill Reid Amphitheatre which hosted over 50,000 attendees.

MidMay is a Vancouver-based Alternative-R&B group fronted by it’s three members, Nikko Harris, Tom Shand and Jacob Regehr. Nikko, Tom & Jake have been collectively working together for over ten years. They have grown together, personally, professionally, and musically and now, it is their time to shine. The name MidMay came from the three members' birthdays. Nikko and Tom being born just two days apart & Jacob, who would have been born in between the two, but was born six weeks prematurely. All three members sing, lending to the distinctive, full sound and diversity of genres from R&B, funk & soul to jazz and rock. The three members of MidMay combine their wide-range of musical influences into their sound - including, The Beatles, Anderson. Paak, Raveena, and Stevie Wonder through improvisation meets deliberate, careful writing. Whether it is their powerful voices, skillful execution of Jacob on the keys, Nikko's catchy drum beats or Tom's effortlessly funky bass lines, MidMay is making waves in the Pacific Northwest.

Mellowhaunt is a synthesis of queer producer Matthew DeBeer and genre-bending singer Derya Gwynneth. Born from heartbreak, Mellowhaunt makes music to dance, drive, and cry to - music to remind you that you're human and leave a bittersweet taste on your tongue that leaves you wanting more. Imagine you're driving down a desert highway, fall in love with a wisp of smoke, get abducted by aliens, and then spat back out. From pop to industrial to ethereal to jazzy, and of course haunting, Mellowhaunt incorporates many genres into their music to craft their unique sound. They draw inspiration from artists such as FKA Twigs, Florence and the Machine, Mitski, Björk, Billie Eilish and others. Mellowhaunt was a match made in heaven, creating sounds dark enough to awaken souls from hell and groovy enough to have them dancing with the devil in no time. Mellowhaunt will transport you to places never before seen by man, and, if you're lucky, they might even break your heart.

Gnarfunkel is a Vancouver-based band making waves with their electrifying live shows and unique melangé of musical styles. Fronted by two animalistic lead singers and backed by a tight, funky rhythm section, they take audiences on an energetic journey through time and space. Their sound incorporates elements of rock, hip hop, Latin, psychedelia, and Eastern music in a sound they dub “Gnar Funk” with each band member playing a large range of eclectic instruments.

Gnarfunkel expanded their artistic soundscape with two new singles in summer 2021. “Show Me” is an indie soul tune featuring horns and a groovy beat and “Full Flower Moon” is a world folk tune featuring acoustic guitar, sitar and other Indian instruments. Gnarfunkel recorded their debut album “Gnarnia” under the guidance of Juno-nominated producer Tom Dobrzanski. A number of singles from this album will be released in early 2022, including fan favourite “A Million Monkeys”. “Gnarnia” will be released in May 2022 in a limited edition vinyl pressing and will be supported by a Canadian tour.
