LxTox is the solo project of Vancouver-based singer/songwriter/musician Alex Scott. Alex started her solo project LxTox as a result of COVID-19 and the consequences that ensued: the inability to rehearse or gig with her former band Fake Cascade, the ending of a long-term relationship and her foray into online dating. Throughout 2020 and 2021, she worked with producer Josh Eastman of Helm Studios on her debut EP "Adult Skin," and with Thomas Hoeller on her follow-up EP "Doomed." "Adult Skin" was released on Jan. 19th, 2022 and "Doomed" was released on May 28th, 2022. Her song "Closeness" was part of the Mix By Mail project with MaryJane Hifi and was produced and mixed by Jane Aurora and Mary Ancheta. LxTox songs have been featured on several episodes of popular podcast "Guys We F****d" (Nov 5th, 2021 and June 16th 2022). LxTox music is alt-pop with touches of neo-soul, rnb and folk.
