Vancouver musicians Jake Huse, on tenor saxophone, and Max Huberdeau, on piano, play ballads, bossas and blues with a lush sound and laid-back feel. Their thoughtful repertoire of jazz standards includes bossa nova classics by Tom Jobim, tender ballads, and soulful jazz-blues by John Coltrane, Miles Davis and others all warmly interpreted by Jake and Max to relax and comfort their listeners. Their musical collaboration stretches back to their student days in jazz school where they first began developing their special chemistry and musical sensitivity together.
