Wayne has been playing guitar, writing songs, and singing since he was nine years old. He also plays bass, drums, keys, mandolin, bouzouki, and banjo. He plays Buddy in a Buddy Holly tribute called Buddy Holic. For many years he fronted and co-founded the original progressive rock band Nomadic Sanctuary playing at the Museum Of Pop Culture in Seattle Washington, opening shows for Blue Oyster Cult, Jefferson Starship, Nick Gilder, And Sweeney Todd. In 2012 Wayne traveled to Lubbock, Texas where he met Buddy Holly’s family. Wayne released his first solo CD titled “Greetings from the here and now” in 2013. “Greetings from the here and Now” was followed up with the “706 Union Avenue E.P.” which was partially recorded in 2014 at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. The single “Disappearing Ink” was engineered by Matt Ross Spang (The Sheepdogs, Chris Isaak). Wayne released his second full-length solo album called The Descendant (Volume One) in the spring of 2019, released an old school country record called "The Brotherhood Of The Scapegoat - All Quiet On The Country And Western Front" on July 3rd, 2020, and The Descendant (Volume Two) released on April 1st, 2022. 2 new singles were released digitally in January 2024. Wayne is influenced by David Bowie, The Beatles, Jimmy Page, Marc Bolan, Buddy Holly, Mark Knopfler, Andy Summers, Prince, Slash, Ennio Morricone, Edward Van Halen, Johnny Cash, and many more...
