Blue Light Sessions Presents Laylo & Lizzy Dissolved
Laylo is a queer indie pop artist based in Vancouver drawing sounds and inspiration from artists like Frank Ocean, Clairo, Mazzy Star and Lorde. Her new single "cry on the dancefloor" is a sad girl dance pop song. The title says it all – you can put it on while putting on makeup in a messy bathroom before a party with your best friends, dancing at the party the same night, and listening through your headphones on the drive home in a cab with the windows down.
Emerging in 2024 from Vancouver's dynamic music scene, Lizzy Dissolved delivers the gritty charm of 2000s indie-alternative rock fused with a pulse of psychedelic grooves and unfettered sonic exploration. The four-piece super group, including local talent Levi Robson (guitar, vocals), Nickolas Provenzano (guitar), Zak Windy (bass), and Adam Gold (drums), launched into Vancouver music venues, including the Fox Cabaret and Biltmore Cabaret, two months after forming, playing debut gigs alongside local fixtures Tiger Really? and Passion Mango. In July 2024, the lizzies released their first single, Summertime Voodoo, with plans to release more Singles in the Fall
