Buddy Holic is a Buddy Holly tribute formed in 2012.
The band is Wayne Schmidt - Vocals/Guitars, Pat Darcus - Doghouse Bass/Vocals, Steve Tomiuk - Rhythm Guitar, Keyboards, Bass & Vocals, James Brander - Drums & Vocals.

Wayne started playing guitar and singing at the age of nine, and formed his first band at the age of 12 playing Beatles, Buddy Holly, and Elvis covers.

He played guitar, and was the main singer/songwriter in the progressive rock band called Nomadic Sanctuary for a number of years. The band opened shows for Blue Oyster Cult, and Nick Gilder.

Wayne also writes, and records his own music. It is available at wayneschmidtmusic.com.

The 2nd Floor Gastown offers Live Music DAILY, open during Dinner Service from 6:00pm to 10:00pm 7 days a week and 11:30am to 2:00pm Saturday & Sunday for Brunch. There are two sets offered for each show; reservations are for one set. Guests may seat for both sets depending on availability and manager discretion.
