Holly Clausius is a queer Toronto artist with a timeless, unique sound, mixing genres like pop, soul, folk and rock. Clausius’ vocals have been described as “as smooth as a cup of chamomile tea and as sharp as a sewing needle” (Blast Magazine, 2020) As a lyricist, her distinct point of view and witty nature creates a safe space for authenticity. From performing with her full band at iconic venues to producing monthly queer variety shows - her ability to uplift 2SLGBTQIA+ artists and create community is unmatched. In 2021, her award winning single “Big Plans” was praised by Deborah Cox, Priyanka, and Tegan and Sara. More recently, Clausius’ track ‘Yellow Dress’ was highlighted on season 2 of Netflix’s original show ‘Ginny and Georgia’.

In the last year, Holly has completed her Cross Canada Wildflowers Tour to sold out audiences in Kingston, Ottawa, London, Montreal, and Vancouver and her first solo European/UK tour across Amsterdam, London, Paris and Brighton in October 2023 with much success. Her latest single and crowd favourite, ‘Your Move’ was released at the end of 2023, giving us a taste of what we can expect this year. With an evolving sound and dedication to live performance, her next project will be hook laden, euphoric, and influenced by 70’s glam rock/soul.

The 2nd Floor Gastown offers Live Music DAILY, open during Dinner Service from 6:00pm to 10:00pm 7 days a week and 11:30am to 2:00pm Saturday & Sunday for Brunch. There are two sets offered for each show; reservations are for one set. Guests may seat for both sets depending on availability and manager discretion.
