Vancouver based alt-pop singer and songwriter FKA Wayne has had an unusual career path compared to most musicians. At 17th she flew across the country to play Bree-show for Billie Eilish four months before she released her debut single. At 18, she was the face of amazon music’s “artists to watch 2020” list for her song “bored” and now 19, FKA Rayne is learning what it means to make music she loves. With prior releases leaning into the pop and dance genre FKA Rayne is taking the time to explore different sounds, adding elements from Alternative, Dark Pop, Hard rock, and Nu-Metal Alongside her glossy pop vocals. Breaking away from the pop-star mold that she was pressed into in poor years, and into something that is uniquely and unequivocally her.
